Hamburger and Gravy
1 lb. of lean ground beef (you can substitute with ground chicken)
1/2 red onion, chopped
1 green pepper (you can substitute red, orange or yellow pepper), chopped
1/4 cup of chopped celery
1 garlic clove, crushed
1 teaspoon of red pepper and garlic spice mix
Salt and pepper
1 can of cream of mushroom soup (you can substitute with other cream soups)
3/4 can of milk and
1/4 cup of sour cream
- In a large sauce pan, brown the hamburger, onion, pepper and celery.
- Add the garlic, the red pepper and garlic spice mix and once the meat is browned drain off any fat.
- Add the milk, sour cream with salt and pepper to taste. Simmer until your pasta or rice is ready.
- Cook the pasta or rice and put the pasta or rice on a plate and cover with the hamburger and gravy.
Serve with a side salad.
